In Our Community

We at Land’or  are honored to support the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization founded to assist in various ways those service members who incurred injury in military actions after September 11, 2001. The organization’s purpose is to raise public awareness and garner assistance as well as helping injured service members learn to assist each other. The group’s vision is “to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history”. Please stand with us by thanking these veterans with your support.  Founded by entertainer Danny Thomas, Memphis, Tennesee-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is working to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.  It was the first institution to develop a cure for sickle cell disease with a bone marrow transplant and has one of the largest pediatric sickle cell programs in the country.  St. Jude has treated children from all 50 states and from around the world and families are NOT charged for services.  It was also the first institution established for the sole purpose of conducting basic and clinical research and treatment into catastrophic childhood diseases, mainly cancer.  We at Land'or International are honored to support such a worthwhile endeavor and urge you to do the same.  Please visit the organization's website at www.stjude.org for further information and to make donations.
